Old Empire bills itself as a traditional IPA, brewed to survived the months at sea to get from Britian to India in the sail ships of old.
Bottled beer sampled though available in cask!
As the name suggests the IPA is a pale ale, (though not too pale thankfully), it is wonderfully hoppy with the fuggles coming through nicely, with a smooth after taste it is very nice on an hot day.
